Could 2012 finally be the breaking point where the Baltimore job market begins to see significant improvement? According to some economists, the state could see a significant influx of jobs in the coming year and that could mean putting many Americans back to work in positions they want to be in rather than just temporary positions.

According to some economists who are looking at the state's current data and its future markets, there is good reason to believe that recovery is on its way. Though the economy will likely grow in November and December of 2011, these professionals also say that it is possible that next year will be even better. However, some say that there will be improvement, but not the full recovery that many are still hoping for.

The Baltimore job market is likely to add thousands of positions. The state saw an improvement of about 22,000 jobs from January of 2011 through November. However, according to some professional reports, including Moody's Analytics, the improvement in jobs in 2012 will be about 7,000 for the year. That may not be what everyone is looking for. Other studies predict numbers as high as 27,000 jobs added state-wide.

For many who are looking for jobs in the Baltimore job market, being versatile and taking entry-level positions even with more experience may be the key to finding a job. As you search for a job in the state, what you are looking for specifically? Are you hopeful that your position will be available next year?
